Absolutely. I couldn’t agree more. That’s what I’m trying to teach her, also. She’s a little trooper and was picking up sticks, rocks and sweet gum balls on the way out to make her own homemade fishing pole.

Holy smokes!...my biggest trout was a 30” brown taken in the uplands of Iceland, and that was only about nine lbs...this fish would have eaten him...

Decent first day of fishing yesterday...25 fish, most in the 15”-16” range, a couple 18” fish, and the largest at 19”...was pretty cold in the morning, but got into the mid 50’s by afternoon. It’s going to be a different story today as we fish the B section of the river...low 40’s, 22 mph winds and some possible snow and/or rain
