Bullwinkle Gladiator Build

No I wouldn’t say it’s too bad if any glare at all for me. But take it these are spots only so there’s no wide pattern to really catch the hood.

And even then these picture don’t do the lights justice. They are way brighter looking in person.
So if I don't see any difference in the photos then the lights were a waste of money?

I do see a difference...

Like I said the pictures don’t really do it justice. They are a lot brighter than they are showing. I’m glad you see a difference. Are they a waste of money, me personally I don’t think they are but to each their own.

Is the glare or light bouncing off the hood annoying? I have the Flex Era 3’s and if I have them pointing straight, the hood is bright as fawk. lol

I would have to agree with the need for spots being needed on the a-pillars. Anything with a spread will cause way too much hood glare. That, or you need to use the lights as ditch lights and that always looks dumb to me.

Waaaaaay back in the day, people installed what were called pencil shields on the a-pillar lights to help mitigate glare.

I think that the pic was taken in an area that doesn't really show them off well. I've run the lights and can vouch for the fact that they shoot a nice beam really far away. Anything up close is lost though and it really is helpful to have a set of spread beam lights to fill things in.

Yea I should of taken a picture in a more open area on the road but ended up getting distracted by the girlfriend LOL 😂

Digital cameras normally have auto-exposure active so if it is brighter then the camera compensates by shortening exposure to make things darker. You can't win! 😄
