Better term would be auto parts stores. Wouldn't be a bad idea to get a nice bilstine and a flip kit though. I actually havn't put my flip bracket on yet but my bilstine is so narrow that it is kinda hiden by the tie rod.

Theres 2 different flip kits that synergy sells. They are both top notch but for one of them theres a bracket welded to the actual flip bracket. For this particular one you have to use the synergy or fox SS. Both of which are WAYYY over priced.

The other is just a flip bracket where the shock just bolts onto it normally and you can bolt and SS to it. Its pretty stout, like a 1/4 inch thick peice of metal. Also provides a new mounting hole (same location) for your track bar, which if you are having death wobble, can be a good thing.

Another option would be the evo drag link flip kit since that does a couple of things, one being flipping the SS.

After winching 3 Jeeps out of Lake Christy and using that pain in the ass cable I went home and bought some synthetic line like I saw Nate (Red 4Dr. Rubi) was using.

Today I had some time to install the line. I had to remove the outter tubes because they were all scuffed up and were going to ruin the new line.

Do you guys think I have compromised the structure of the winch by removing these 2 bars?

It still functions great.

When I was winching my winch was cutting out...I found a bad ground wire and fixed it!

I think they are there for if the line snaps at the drum to keep the line from swinging around and hurting someone

Just grind em and put em back on. Also get a cover. Rope isnt that great of friends with the sun. Looks good. Winch will be much happier, glad you were able to fix the issue also.

Like Ballz said, go synergy. I have their SS flip bracket and the thing is awesome. All their stuff is really well made. Get that with the tie rod clamp and you're set to not break anymore. At least from crashing it into a rock.

Synergy flip kit and a cheap steering stabalizer. I bought the bilstine (not cheap) because of how narrow it was, giving me better ground clearance because I wasn't sure when I would be able to get my flip bracket on. And I'm glad I did because I still havn't inetalled it.
