Caught the Bug
Way back in 1999 when I bought my TJ I decided after a couple months that I would live in it before I'd sell it. Still feel that way. Now that I have a JKU also the living arrangements seem roomier.

These machines we call Jeeps, absolutely need to have their bolts massaged from time to time. If you have to pay someone to do that for you every time, which will be more than a few times, you better have a tall stack of cash. I couldn’t imagine how scary it would be to own one of these not knowing the first thing about how it works.

Absolutely, I've been on several runs where something happened and the owner didn't even know where to begin. Fortunately there were people there who could help. I found myself under a WJ helping a guy get his rig back into 2HI. The little plastic clip broke and fortunately I was familiar with the linkage as it was similar to the JK.

Selling used sucks. Since everyone here has seen your jeep at $75k and now $70k, you might have missed your opportunity to price it right. You might want to open up the bidding and then negotiate from there. Instead of playing the waiting game. Start at 55 or 60.

Nah I doubt it. People aren’t afraid to low ball. No way I’ll sell it for 55 or 60

With the JL almost here I'm thinking anyone with that kind of money to drop on a Jeep is gonna be ordering a new one. Good luck.

Yeah but 70k is a drop in the bucket for a build like this. With a JL built like this you’ll be well over $110k even people with money will save $40k when it makes since

This is a REALLY good deal. This is clearly a $110k build and he is letting it go for a VERY reasonable $70k. You don't have to find a bunch of buyers, you only have to find one. I know of another recent sale of a JK like this in the same range and I am envious of my friend. He has an amazing rig now and didn't have to go through all of the hassle of the build itself.

As for the JL, I am SO glad I got my JK now. Waiting for an untested rig is not a good idea. The JK went though a couple of changes before they got it right.

To the OP, you got it priced exactly right and just wait. I would buy it if I didn't already have a build just like it. But it took me a year to get mine built. And it was not an easy process.

If I didn’t need the money for a business opportunity there’s now way I’d let it go.
