It's a really Straight forward install. If you dry fit everything you can get really accurate placement for the A pillar support holes. I put lines centered on the three holes on the plate, then dry fit and marked the jam from there.

Great awesome video and luv the music! Bit late to the EVO cage party but that video made the install simple and sold me. EVO cage ordered and awaiting delivery. Thanks

Finally got my EVO sport cage installed. EVO engineered the individual pieces but I had to "engineer" them to fit. The EVO SC install required chopping and cutting sections of the inner dash metal frame and dremeling the pinch plate holes larger to adjust for fitment. Printing your own instructions is not bad but the drilling template placement was inaccurate by at least a half hole. I also cut a small relief hole for the dash headlight sensor.
Despite the issues the EVO sport cage is still my #1 choice. The beefy A-pillar supports mount flush to the A-pillars with virtually no loss of peripheral vision. The dash crossbar lies stealthy low and drivers can quickly adapt to its presence. The entire sport cage is made from 4130 chromoly steel. The JK structure felt more rigid and tighter as a unit as the sport cage does tie in the OEM roll bars and windshield frame as one unit.
