The one thing I don't like about Dynatrac covers is the lack of a drain plug.

That does kind of suck.... but one day I'll probably have a PR44 so I might as well start practicing the Dynatrac way..

A suction pump will overcome that, but pulling the cover on occasion is not a bad idea.

The stock differential has a drain plug. Why do you need one in the cover? Not to mention the factory cover doesn’t have a drain plug in it.

Lol. Sure enough. I don't know why I was thinking the plug was in the diff cover.

I guess I don't have anything against the Dynatrac cover.

Is the front axle in step 2 a dana 30 or dana 44?

It's a Dana 44 but the 30 also has a drain plug there.
