I was told that there's a place at the campgrounds to leave the doors behind. As for mirrors... I'll look into some cheap alternates fir a quick fix. I'm saving for some skids now.

Yeah unfortunately Im not camping this time around.

I added a pic in my post to show you what I mean about the blind spot mirrors cost you around $10 for both

you can buy quick disconnect mirrors that attach to the door hinge.

I relocated my stock mirrors from my doors to my Jeep's body.

I saw some quick disconnects but there like $70 & they won't arrive to me in time.

Leaving Doors off at RC

Id love to run no dorrs for this but I have no place to keep my doors :grayno:

By the way for the running mirrors with no doors I just bought 2 blind spot mirors and velcroed them to each air vent. Works pretty good :thumb:

So you say you want to go doorless??? Two choices... Chain them to a tree at Echo Valley or Take em off at Rausch and chain them to the telephone pole barrier outside the office. Did that two weeks ago up at RC.

If that many people are interested in leaving doors off I'll bring a 50' plastic coated heavy duty chain and we can lock em all together. If everyone who wants to leave doors off brings their own lock you'll be able to just take your set off the chain whenever you need them.

Don't forget the BSBC needs to have plenty of Greens (and Lavender, and Periwinkle, and Fuchsia) trails for our stock rigs! I am now riding an inch lower in the front with the new bumper and winch. Need to go higher...

Scott, I have a Teraflex leveling kit that I can let you have for $75 if your interested. With that said, a leveling kit is not going to cut it at Rausch IMO (just help with bigger tires for mall crawling). First time I went to Rausch I had the budget lift and 285x75-17 tires and was scraping under the fenders and under carriage on Blues and some Greens.

If the trails we are doing this Saturday are anything like what we did the last time, you won't have any problems at all...just go over the rocks in front of you instead of around them and you'll do great.

You also have a Rubicon which I believe are higher than regular Sports/Sahara's. The BSBC is a great group of guys, but for $35, I'm going to hit every trail that everybody does (except hard blacks).

Sounds like a plan. 👍

There isn't at place at the campgrounds per say, we just leave them near or in our tents. And if you need more peace of mind bring a chain and lock or something to lock them together but we really shouldn't have a problem unless an angry band of FJ hooligans infiltrate our campsite while we are wheeling. But I am 100% going doorless for the trails. And yeh, you can get away with no mirrors for the 5-10 minute drive to the trails from campgrounds. But for future I bought a pair of mirrors that go into the door hinges. $50 for them and they are decent. I usually only use one on the driver side

I posted this before but does anybody have a utility light that we can plug in at the Pavilion before I go to home Depot and buy one

There'll be the camp fire, lots of battery powered lanterns, everyone wears a headlamp and most Jeeps have insane LED lighting if we really need light. Do we really need pavilion lights? Just my:twocents:.

Just one light bulb hanging from the ceiling over the grill much brighter than the little light we had last time.... Hey I'm just the 800 pound gorilla sitting in the living room :)

I'm starting to think our ideas of just one light [bulb] are a little different... :D
