Well I have two. I don’t bring them both but the harness works for both. I could bring them both if the trip required lol
Is either of them a dual zone? I've been debating on one so I can pack cocktail ice & maybe ice cream or otter pops in the summer.

I have been eyeing a TopLift Pro for awhile now. Looking for an easy way to get my hardtop off once I put my lift on since I won’t be able to pull it in the garage. Found this on FB marketplace today for 500 dollars. Offered him 300 and he accepted. Retails for 999. That’s a win in my book.

Thanks. That’s the original toy! I built it back in 2015. I don’t think my wife would ever let me sell it.
Looks badass blacked out! Is that a Factory 5 or backdraft kit?

20 years ago my father was going to build Factory 5 kits and sell them for income when he retired. After we built the first car it was clear that we grossly underestimated the time that goes into it. Especially if you do things right.

While the body was off to paint my friends and I would rush home from school and romp that thing around town like a giant go-cart. One day we pulled up to a stop light next to my drivers education teacher giving a lesson. We had no license, insurance, plates, doors, or a body. He just looked at us and shook his head.

It’s a factory 5. I loved building it and it gave me a lot of confidence to build other things. Before building this car I only changed engine oil. It did take a lot of time and it’s really not profitable to make a business out of it. I had plenty of moments driving it around as a go cart to “test” it.

I’ve been neglecting my JTR suspension maintenance for a while. It’s starting to feel like a horse carriage. Haha. Got new bushings for all 8 control arms and 2 new ball centers. Anyone know what Zerks to use? I know some of them need to be replaced as well.

IIRC its 1/4"-28 taper thread, I used Napa 715-2003 (straight) and also some 90* angle head ones (cant find the package for a part number)

Installed the Vector Offroad E-Dock, with two phone mounts. Sure, it’s kinda expensive, but I am genuinely blown away by the quality of the bar and the phone mounts. Highly impressed, Everything fit perfectly, on the first try. No need to lower the windshield as their official instructions recommend - really wasn’t difficult at all. All of the components feel substantially over-built.

Would have liked to find a sticker in the box...but that’s my only complaint. :) 79D9EBD3-BB00-4A60-8DA9-E592D6685CBA.jpeg A779871C-2B58-4DE4-8386-0F86FB80D039.jpeg 866A0366-68AB-4170-884F-562AE9D2B9E0.jpeg
