Caulk might be kinda soft... what about epoxy?

Sounds like a personal problem. 🙄

Quikrete makes several different products for cement repair. Everything from hairline crack repair to full-on patching of large areas. Check your local HD, Lowe's, or hardware store of choice.

Went with a Quickrete crack repair. Came out pretty good. I'll do a final grind and fill later this week.

You're probably already done but this would save your shop-vac and your lungs. Not the best examples, But pretty easy to make. I used to do skylights and standing on top of ladder inside an 8' skylight shaft I've come out looking like that plenty of times.

I've been looking into building or buying one. Mainly for metal dust.

If you paint it go with a 100% Solids epoxy paint and put it down thick.

I'll check that out. It will be awhile before I do that. Still not sure if I want paint or epoxy. I weld a lot too, so I don't want to put too much time and money into it if it's going to get damaged regardless.

After Sharkey posted a pic of a Safe Jack kit in an ammo can, I decided to take mine out of the plastic case, and put it in an ammo can.

I had a couple of .50 caliber cans laying around, but I decided a PA108 S.A.W. can (commonly known as a fat 50 can), might be better. I got one for pretty cheap at Sportsman’s Guide. It was in pretty good shape, with minimal rust. I knocked what rust there was off, with a cordless drill and wire brush wheel. I hit it with a light coat of primer.

I’m waiting for it to dry, and I’ll paint it back O.D. Green.

Mine stuff hobby wise is usually more replica film prop and model related. Didn’t have a tv in our home until I was in Jr high, so grew up playing outside and building models. I’m a sci-fi nerd at heart, have been doing vaccuforming, mold making, resin casting, fiber glassing for 20 years. Started 3D printing a bit over a year ago. Working on the predator currently.
