Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

Decided to take a wall out and make a breakfast bar in my new house. All that’s left is to mount the bar top.

Looks great! ... Really opens things up. I did the exact same thing when I bought my house. Make sure that wall isn’t bearing and the ceiling joists are running parallel or you will get sagging and cracking without a header.

Here’s mine

Both look awesome. Open floor plans really change the way a room looks.

Yours looks great too! I’m doing the same type of top. I triple checked the wall before I did any work to verify it wasn’t load bearing.

And playing offense against these fuckers is a never ending war. 4 in 4 days so far. Only the beginning.

The start of working with my dad on his 50 cal flintlock. Unfortunately I won’t be able to enjoy it much since he’s a lefty [emoji849] but up next will be my own flintlock pistol come the summer. Below it is the first completed flintlock build.

And the powder horn we made for it... carving based on the North Maine Woods.

Finished the barn door for our master bath finally.

Started with a raw unfinished 15 lite door

Sanded and painted it. Then put the frosted glass window film on it.

Then mounted the hardware on a 1x4 header board.

After living in our house for nearly 5 years I finally got around to filling the spa in our back room because we're selling it. Fortunately it worked just fine. Had a minor drip coming from the drain but replacing the gasket fixed it.
