Pvanweelden's JKUR build

Will do, that's the way I'm running my halogens so it should be an easy swap, just will add a connector for when I remove the rack. Thanks again for the info.

Great thread!!

Thing is I have a Gobi roof rack and only a 40" can be installed

ah fair enough, well at least a 40 will be cheaper than a 50. mine is a no name brand and works well but yeah you do want to make sure they give a good warranty with it, i reckon at least 2 years. mine had a 3 year attached :thumb:

Thanks QRS, let me know if you have any questions when you the relay panel.
Got my M10 to 1/4" fitting done. Found a weldable metal fitting.

Now I just need to figure out a place to mount the horn.

Not doing much on the jeep this weekend as the Mini has taken priority. It has a cracked oil filter housing
Almost can get the housing....

The dealership wanted $1500 for labor
Needless to say, it is not at the dealership :D

No joke!!! I wouldn't have it there either. $1500.00 is a lot to put towards retirement. :D

the Mini was the main focus this weekend - started Friday night, finished this morning- took 8 hours
But it is finished and fixed!

But after that I still managed to get some work done on the jeep-
Forgot I never put on the rear lca skids

And hooked up my Air Raid horn to my 4th button on the wireless remote. Installed the horn right behind the lca on passenger side. No pic.
Took the grill off to plastic dip

Finally installed led side markers, and did the flash mod (hook side black wire up to front bottom white wire) so the side marker also flashes instead of just being solid on.

And relocated my front two downward facing rock lights to the outside fender support instead of inside the frame rail.

You know your impact wrench should have a reverse lever/knob/button somewhere on it.. You may want to locate it for future projects. 😁

My ride- 2001 power wheel, 11" plastic tires, upgraded battery, boat sides, custom bumpers, tow hooks, new paint.

Well, except for the broken off wheel studs

Lol.. That just the the way they are with bolts instead of studs and nuts. Makes it a pain to get the wheels on compared to having wheels studs to hang the wheel on

That's crazy Paul, we have a MINI as well. Lucy drives a MINI Clubman S JCW - 2 more payments and it's ours.
That's a fun car to drive after going slow in our Jeep all the time!

Looking good PV, how many coats did it take?

Thanks Hillz, I did four coats- almost one full spray can.

Paul- I love the mini! (well maybe not Friday night :( but otherwise it is an awesome car! fun to drive! and makes a great companion car to a Jeep :)
the damn thing has motors that pop out to spray the headlights!
