Took it out to check clearances. Looks like I need about an inch of bumpstop. I never installed my kings yet. Wanted to see what i could get away with. Need Rubi fenders in the rear now. It’s not even fully flexed yet. I go some more dialing in to do. Haven’t been doing much to the Jeep. It’s been sitting for the most part. My wife got really sick back the first part of April and was diagnosed with metastatic liver cancer. It’s been a long couple months. I’ve checked in from time to time, while in a hotel for the last month or so, to try and clear my mind for a minute. It’s been a long road, but she is doing much better after being life flighted to Salt lake city. After surgery she has a pretty good prognosis. So many prayers were answered and I thank God for the time we have had. We pray that there is many more years to come. We need to move on from all the bad news and look ahead. We are looking forward to running the Alpine loop soon.

on to a quick install

I did get to install some Beamtech LED bulbs along with some LED fog bulbs. I ordered some Quake slim lights for the fender chop I’m doing on the Rubicon fenders. 81916FE9-91E8-46C8-9961-D8F762B2C837.jpeg 3AA352B2-1025-43C7-8583-E742F760739F.jpeg

I’m sorry to hear that y’all had to go through that, but happy to hear she is doing good. I know how hard cancer can be. My prayers to you and her.

Thank you all for your kind words. Definitely an eye opening experience for us. She’s a tough cookie. The worst part about it is how normal the word cancer has become. Before, it was just avoiding saying the word or looking at it on TV, to her just casually saying she has it. I know that sounds odd, but it’s one of those things you never thought you, or your loved one would get.

Sorry to hear this, man.

Painted and installed some Cavfab D-ring mounts. Much better than the rear bumper. Eddie’s hitch stinger works great too. I really like how low the tire is on the factory sport mount. Easy to see out of the back window. Just waiting on the Quake fender chop lights. 184FFF07-FAA1-4D8F-85AD-E25E91382178.jpeg 0BACA1E7-8D4C-4308-A731-53203654271B.jpeg BB2385A8-1172-4BF3-AC0B-D12CD86CD2A9.jpeg C76E60BD-594A-4A06-8211-34C30A49BFF6.jpeg 67A4422C-2EAC-4C14-A7E8-A4EEDBAB67FB.jpeg ADE8A8D7-CC14-4117-A5D4-748E55D033CA.jpeg 3DB41643-B655-4D41-B0E1-32A8E390D8B1.jpeg

Cheesy little mod but hell…red d rings on the Cavfab d ring mounts. Matches the Zia on the plate. 8D28DF25-8A0B-4496-9AA7-1CB23357C67F.jpeg

Another small change. After installing the Quake led slim lights I noticed the screw that you drill through the fender was kinda small. 7F25405E-B621-4D4F-8E85-1838AAC8808B.jpeg
I remembered I had some leftover Rokblokz washers laying around and thought they might work. I know, a little too much OCD but it’s sure looks better with them. A bit more surface area to work with. A small change but I think it turned out great.
