In The Shop - Disciple Off Road

Oh yeah....Let's just say there's a list of things that need attention. Honestly it makes me sad and mad seeing people being screwed over on stuff like this when they don't know any better and trust that someone is giving them good information and guiding them on their Jeep. this crap is too common.
I spent a good amount of time on this forum 14 years ago asking questions before I even bought my jeep. Didn't want to end up like this guy. Also why I talked to a local reputable shop about my van before I jist started buying stuff. Except lights. I knew I wanted a lot of bright ones. Bump stops not so much...haha

We’ve been working on @NCAJeep Jeep JK giving it a facelift. The Jeep currently had EVO long arms and coilovers which are staying for now. The big upgrades are focused on Dynatrac XD60 axles 72.5” wide, 40” Nittos/beadlocks, PSC hydro assist, ROM steering kit , new EVO bumpers all around with armor/rock sliders, rear KING bumps and of course some Baja Lighting.

Prep work has been a lot as the frame was pretty rough from previous owner and we all know my OCD wasn’t gonna be ok with that.

Front end all cut and prepped for the new bumper and PSC installed.

Rear EVO bumps installed. I’m slowly learning this welding thing and getting more confident.

All painted up and looking a lot better

What has been great with Dynatrac is they are the few if not only company that lets us order the axles exactly how we want them in regards to brackets, just tacked etc. which is great for doing different suspension conversions. We can keep the axles clean of any un-needed brackets.

All welded up and ready for paint.

I did have some fun making a front bump stop setup since the JK already had KING bumps.

This is the standard coil perch for the axle which of course is huge and we don’t need.

I removed these completely along with the rear axle coil perches but now needed front bump stop pads….

I decided to use the rears to make something and this is what I came up with.

Rear perch as it comes tacked up.

Took some KING bumps and used them to mark, drill and tap some holes.
