It’s fuckin $6.79 at Chevron for 87 in Carlsbad, CA where I work. Absolutely outrageous. Highest I’ve ever seen for 87 was $6.99 and at this rate I see it getting there and above again. I’m gonna buy a damn motorcycle.

The price of gas in Texas is not bad. The price seems to be much higher in the more progressive states.

Looks like BP’s E15 regular gas. 15% ethanol. I almost put that in my TDI by mistake due to the green color hose and nozzle.

Diesel here has been around $4.50-ish, however I expect all fuel costs to go up as we head into winter and the effects of the drill bans take effect.

Diesel was $4.09 when I filled up in VA.
A portion of the price difference is tax- Virginia loves tax. It would be interesting to know if both states get their fuel from the same supplier. Years ago Phoenix gas and Tucson had a $.10 to $.15 price difference as one received fuel from Texas and the other from California.
