That is the color I remember the Green River. Spent 18 days on it between Vernal and Green River Utah when I was 20. Such a great trip! It was part of my NOLS course.

The Green River below the dam at Flaming Gorge is usually crystal clear, with the green algae on the bottom making it look green. The massive snowpack this year (there was still quite a bit of snow on the ground in Dutch John…it was lightly snowing when I got there) really made the lower sections after B unfishable due to runoff. The water temperature was a frosty 39 degrees
