Almost ran my own ass over...

I’ve had a rough week personally & I was 100% sober when this happened. My driveway is poured slabs of concrete & over the years they have shifted. I think my rear tire was caught on an edge that prevented it from rolling forward at idle. Once I killed the power it was over.

I’m 41 & never done anything like this before.

Called accidents for a reason. Thankfully no one was hurt!

Hooked
...and tap the floor, looking for the clutch in the pickup, too, I’ll bet.

I've done this and pushed in my parking brake as the clutch in my truck.

I intentionally pushed mine down the driveway (no doors on) to try and bump start it as I was being lazy and didn't want to move vehicles around to jump it. As it got rolling I quickly realized it wasn't a good idea to try it by myself. I was worried about getting my foot caught under the driver's side front tire. Jumped in and tried popping it but also forgot to put the key to the ON position. I ended up parked half way in the street. Ended up having to move two vehicles anyway to get it going. Life lesson: Don't be lazy!
