Similar to mine in 2002. The one I bought was a Sony" rear projection 4:3 aspect ratio (1080). At the time most TV was in that format and I didn't want the black bars or stretched picture to fit 16:9 "wide screen" cost close to $2k. Picked up a 65" Samsung 3D smart TV in 2013 for a bit less than I paid for that and could now get a 75" 4k Samsumg for around $700 from Costco. Didn't mention the 32" RCA tube TV I bought in 99 or 2000...haha.It was 2002 for me. A 65" Sony rear projection HDTV (1080) that was enormous and weighed a ton. At the time, it cost just shy of $5000.
