Random (non-Jeep) Shit You’re Working On....

My buddy’s inlaws owned an Offroad shop in Denver years back and his father in law built this cool “Jeep Bar” maybe 20 years ago for this bar in Golden. My buddy saw the Jeep bar for sale on some Facebook group and he told the bar owner that he wanted it. Well, it took a lot of work to get this bastard out of this basement bar but we did it. The bar owner told us that she had it lowered into the basement with a crane when they were constructing the property. We got the “half” body out in one piece and just had to chop up some of the frame to get it out.

He is going to make a spot in his basement for it so we will be reassembling it soon
That's awesome...

Just about got my K-10 motor done, rebuilt the TB, injector spider, PS pump, and idler pulley bearings this weekend. Tried to freshen up the alternator but broke a bolt and ruined it trying to disassemble it. Dad had an AC pump he rebuilt a few years ago sitting around that just needed some paint to make it pretty.

I thought I had a belt for it but no dice

You know that by removing the orange paint you will lose 5 hp...

Those turned out nice, are you going to put a cabinet type door on the open section?
Debating what to do there. Needs a door for sure. Probably do a flush low profile door. Either with the same handles as the drawers or something flat on top as a pull that can’t be seen. Don’t think I have enough maple to build the doors and don’t want to buy another sheet. I’ll have to see what I can come up with.

Its in the garage and you're painting them anyway, use whatever nice grade plywood is cheapest. It won't be low profile but just build a surround out of whatever hardwood you have and and inset a 1/8" piece of masonite

Put a Blink motion sense outdoor camera with spotlight up on the garage to watch Bluey. Pretty neat system but the cameras zoom can’t be adjusted so it doesn’t cover as much of the side yards as I had hoped. Likely will have to get two more, non-lit versions to watch my perimeters. 3735D604-A7BB-4A5A-BF87-A69B1D64440E.jpeg
