Dallas County extends stay at home orders to May 20th. The expectation is the other big counties in Texas will follow suit shortly. FUUUUUUUUCCCKKKKKKKK

I expect very soon the entire state is going to be told to go the fuck home and stay there. Motherfuckers are treating this shit like a vacation. I drove by Home Depot and Lowe’s and the parking lots are packed[emoji849]

i saw the same at lowes when we went down to pick up the jeep from you. completely full. i mean i'm fortunate that i'm still employeed and able to work from home. but, damn if doesn't make a person go stir crazy especially when it rains.

Reading into the CARES Act, unemployment benefits are going to increase by $600 per week. In Wisconsin, that will be in addition to the normal maximum of $370 per week for a total of $970 per week or the equivalent of $24.25/hr and will go on until the end of July.

My company remains open, exempt from Wisconsin’s “Safer At Home” Order. We are operating with 1/3rd our normal hourly staff in the shop with the rest on rotational lay-off.

I’m already having issues with lay-off callbacks because the incentive to work is now gone. Some of my staff will make more sitting at home than working.

This bill was well thought out [emoji849].

Do you have to re-hire them if the refuse to come back when work is available?

Not gonna lie... I’m definitely making home improvements also. Planning on extending my roofline out to cover my front patio. However, I’m doing it without setting foot in the store. I just called in the order for delivery and the lumber was dropped off in my driveway this morning. There are ways of making shit happen without increasing risk to other people or yourself.

Exactly. My wife and I are doing the same. I have several home improvement projects that I've yet to finish but already have the materials. Its a good time to do that and drink beer. I did have to go to Costco yesterday for normal shopping and I'm hoping I bought enough stuff to last me 3 weeks. Beer and wine included...haha.
