Verdi Peak

Perched above Boca and Stampede Reservoirs, a few miles East of Truckee, CA.
Altitude was roughly 8,400 ft., great climbs with a couple technical areas on the way up. Total fun. We took the long way up, and the short way through Dog Valley on the way back home.

We went for a walk in my wife's, grandparent's neighborhood (Tahoe Donner) and there was still a patch of snow from the winter's plowing. They had all kinds of issues this past winter. Ice dams and things tend to do more damage when you're a snow bird. They may be selling in the coming couple of years.

Rosevelt National Forest, near Central City, Co.
Yankee Hill, Pickle and finished up Saturday attempting Jenny Creek. Good size snow drifts near the end of the trail, forced us to turn around.

Lots of new decks, chimneys and roofs in Tahoe Donner! It was a brutal winter.

Squaw Valley just ceased operating for the ‘18-19 season yesterday. Still a bunch of snow at Sugar Bowl as well. Hearing a bunch of trails are still gated around the area.
