The long and slow build of "................"

Those 37s look good! :thumb: Hows the drive with them compared to the 35s? You ready to try them out on some rocks?
It drives a lot better. 4.88s and 37s are a good combo. I feel like I have more power then I did with the 35s. The 35s and 4.88s had high rpms but it felt like I wasn't moving. The 37s lowered the rmps but seems to have given me usable torque. I'm ready to try the tires and gears out. When's the next run?

Just a couple of pictures I took today. Tomorrow I hope to run some local trails and test clearances and bump stop. Thank you thombull for the tires and taking me over to the tire shop for the sweet deal. I'll post more pictures tomorrow hopefully.

Sounds lile a good combo for a 2dr. I mean yoy killed it with the 35s im ready to see what yoy do with these 37s!
Im sure therw will be some coming up soon. Mike and Geoff are itching to get out there again. I will be in Colorado for almost 20 days coming up and then will be heading out to JKX for another 10 days. After that it's work for 3 weeks straight. So it will be Oct 17th till I have a free day in Cali.

Damn. That's a crazy busy schedule. I'll start planning for October to be ready for a trip. Thank you I appreciate it. You helped me out a lot. I'm excited to see how the gears and 37s perform compared to the 35s on stock gears.

I was able to get out on some local trail. They aren't as good as I hoped due to the fire. They pretty much grated the whole trail. But here are some pictures I was able to get while testing clearances and bump stop. 20170813_135544.jpg20170813_135551.jpg20170813_135558.jpg20170813_135659.jpg20170813_141620.jpg20170813_142028.jpg20170813_142045.jpg20170813_142111.jpg20170813_142125.jpg20170813_142130.jpg20170813_142137.jpg20170813_142149.jpg20170813_142212.jpg20170813_142223.jpg20170813_142350.jpg20170813_142400.jpg20170813_143421.jpg20170813_143447.jpg20170813_143508.jpg20170813_143519.jpg

I seem to be properly using my bump stops with no fender rubbing not do I hit the pinch seams I previously trimmed for the 35s. The only issue I keep having is at front stuff while Turing my tire hits the sway bar even though it's disconnected and strapped up. So I'll have to go back to unbolting it at the trail head. Defeats the purpose of "quick disconnect" but if that is the least of my worries I can live with that.

Did you reprogram you computer for tire size and gear ratio? That's very important to performance

They look awesome! 👍 Your springs look really compressed, though. The jounce stop isn't even fully smashed in the photos. If it were me, I'd install another puck on your bump stop stack.

Yea I thought about it. I'll probably order more pucks. Its something on my list of to dos. Along with a million other things haha. I want to get my rear control arms and new drive shafts soon. Then start saving for a front axle. But for now I'm just going to wheel it and take it one step at a time. Thank you.

I've got a couple of pucks you're more than welcome to have. Text me your address and I'll send them up to you. You've already got 2 on there and you're on a 3" lift, right?

I feel you. I picked up all 8 adjustable control arms from another member that are still sitting in my garage. I want to get front and rear driveshafts in hand before I get the regear done so I don't have to deal with torquing the pinions twice.
