Psc install

Thanks for the response. Dave I know you have a 60, do you all know with stock axle and raised track bar would that make any difference on if I should do it straight up.

Mine go straight up too. Stock D44 axle.

Greg, thanks for all the info; great stuff. I installed the larger reservoir but not the cooler (yet). Still damn cold here, so I will wait till my other items are all installed and everything is working right.

Not sure if these are the kind of pics that would help you in your decision of routing of lines, but here is my set up.

Greg, Where did you get that skid for your ram?

That is an Off Road Evolution special! It's an option when you do their high steer set-up. That thing is beeeefffyy! I'm pretty certain on at least 100+ occasions my jeeps entire weight has rested on this thing, not to mention some brutal front end assaults at speed hitting it dead on. Here's what it looks like before it's welded on.

That thing is nice! Can you buy it from them? Don't remember seeing it on the site... I'm assuming those crescents weld on to the axle housing, correct?

Nope, not available to the public. The shop will only sell as part of the upgrade to their high steer set up. Yes, the notches in the gussets are where the skid gets welded on to the axle.

Many have asked. None have gotten. :cheesy:

Plus it's for a 60 only correct?!?

Pretty sure that Dave's are straight up, maybe he will chime in with a photo...

Sorry missed the photo request but Greg has it covered with his photos. We are running the exact same set up, other than he has the reservoir, pump, and cooler. Our ram, lines, high steer, and skid all look to be in the same location.

So if I ordered an PR44 from them with the high steer mounted on it, do you think I could get them to weld on that skid before sending it out to me?

Call them and ask. I'd be interested to know the answer myself. :thumb:

Here is my routing. This pic is at full droop - axles hanging.

I just followed what PSC recommended in the instructions. The are zipped together just above this pic.

Is your drag link on in this picture?

Oops. Sorry no it is not. I don't have the Jeep today so I can't run out and take another shot right now.
