That should hold up a bit better

It should. It's about three times heavier, and all where it counts. Rocks, you better look out now.

So tonight's project is the PSC big bore box.
I'm sure glad to do it while the axle is not in the way. What a bear to get in by yourself. This thing is HEAVY.
Now it's in, the first steering hose screwed right in. The second one, every time it gets where it is going to catch a thread, it pops up and won't catch.
The box came with adapter fittings to plug the holes. Those came out just fine, and went in the old box just fine as well.
I pulled it back out of the old box, and it threads in first try. I compare threads with the hose that won't go. Same thing. I clean the threads, again, in case I missed something. Try again, same damn thing.
I have seriously been nearly an hour trying to get one hose fitting started
I'm fixing to give it up for the night and try again tomorrow.
Hopefully won't be Snap Crackle Pop.]
Good you made some nice progress. That PSC is a lot of work man glad you got it figured out.Well, I had to meet Brown Santa at his field office, but he had the goods [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]
Got them home and opened the box to some awesome looking axles. Damn they are heavy. That's good.
Then I went on the attack on the line to the PSC box that kicked my ass last night. With a new attitude and fresh fingers, I got it together in five minutes.
I am unbolted and raised the computer and other crap to get more clearance, as I was not lowering that heavy bastard once I had it up there.
Now that's done, I can start putting the axle in[emoji106]
Giving up for the night.
Axles in the garage. I couldn't quite get the axle to balance on the jack stands without help, so tomorrow I will pull it into place somehow.
With any luck I will be able to test drive it by the end of the weekend, then get on to the rest of the work.
If you have furniture dollies it works well. I just put both sides on one and rolled it to where I needed and then jacked each side up to start getting arms in place. Gives you the ability to adjust it around a little to line things up. Nice progress though!
