A TJ called The Lion

Got some work done on the front axel today. Cleaned it up a bit more. Where it matters for now. Mocked up truss and ram mount. Truss is tacked in place for today. Back on that tomorrow to finish truss and mount. I really dig the design of this Artec truss and ram mount. 20210316_145301.jpg20210316_145252.jpg20210316_152027.jpg20210316_150853.jpg20210316_140749.jpg20210316_140626.jpg20210316_140618.jpg20210316_140613.jpg

Now that the major welding on the axels is most done it wa Stine to get the jeep in the garage and start removing the rear axel. Came out pretty quick.
Removed lower CAs. Left uppers on they will be back in place in just a few minutes.
Got the skid plate out of the way so Matt could weld in the new Genright center section that will keep the drive train snug and secure.
Then the Sterling was brought into place and the lazer line brought everything into place. Got the UCA mounts welded on and upper control arms are in place.
Front fenders are off and out of the way.
No shortage of things left , but thats where we called it a day.

Tomorrow we hope to have everything in place for the dual triangulation. Those parts are scheduled to arrive tomorrow. We all know how that goes right now. If they don't we can start removing front shocks, shocks mounts and all the stock bracketry that needs to be deleted.
