So I’ve been thinking since the 392 is full time 4wd does it still have the FAD?

That's an interesting thought. I'd be curious to see how they implemented full time AWD. I'd think it would have a different transfer case and everything.

Edit: Here's an article I found from a few months ago. The article states there is no FAD. It's a pretty interesting one to read.

I just tried to do a parts listing search on the components. They don't even have it as an option to generic search. we can always see vehicles in the parts catalogues before they even hit the dealerships. But nope not the 392 Wrangler.

EDIT UPDATE - the Canadian listing does not list the 392 the U.S version does have listings for it.

They do show the FAD listed with the 6.4l
and a MP3022 t-case mated to the 6.4

That's odd. In that article they showed the front axle diagram but only the drivers side.

Why would a full-time 4WD need a FAD?

Who knows, It just shows it as available on the Jeep. Not like the catalogues have ever been wrong before,

maybe it was a toss together to get the vehicle ready for pictures. Who knows . Until we have one on the lot I don't have any first hand knowledge. only what's listed in the catalogues.

Ok, here we go. First off, it’s insane. It pulls like a AWD sports car, not the push of a muscle car. It’s absolutely nuts, I still have a shit grin in my face. I can fully see why it’s in all wheel drive, all the time. It couldn’t keep the wheels on otherwise. Here’s a couple shots.

With that muffler on the back end and those axles, it’s a street/desert jeep unless you throw away every from the transmission back and massively upgrade it all. With that said, it is truly a bad ass jeep. I still can’t get over how it pulls and how much control you have while hammering it down.
