Wheels with Sting Ray Color Gladiator

Curious to see your wheel choices for a sting ray gladiator. I'm torn between all black, a combination of black and aluminum (silver) or gray, or an all machined aluminum wheel. Would really appreciate any pics of your favorite combination of wheel with sting ray color gladiator. Thanks.

    Jeep veering right

I will check the ram assist as well. Just was sharing what I found as of right now. The TRE definitely has movement side to side in it. I'll try the video link again. passenger side tire rod

    Jeep veering right

Well, I think I at least found one issue. My passenger side tie rod end appears to need replacing. Hopefully this video link works. passenger side tire rod

    Jeep veering right

Not saying it's not possible, but it was not having the issue prior to replacing the trac bar bushing and new tires. They shouldn't have messed with any of the control arms in taking care of those items. But anything is possible I guess.

    Jeep veering right

Yes, I would want them to verify the alignment is all correct. They said it was, but .... I just would hate to have to pay to get the alignment checked again just to find out it's good. Guess I could check the other things mentioned here and if none of them seem to be an issue then have the...

OK. Something else I should be able to check at home as well. Thanks.

    Jeep veering right

Yea, I could just mark it's current location on tie-rod (for re-install purposes) and disconnect it and see what happens.

I have PSC hydro assist steering. I wonder if something is off on it. Thoughts?

    Jeep veering right

When traveling at highway speeds, if you were to take your hand off the wheel at any time, my rig immediately starts to veer right (passenger). My shop has said that the alignment was right on. So, I am looking for ideas as to the culprit. Now I realize it's a jeep on 37s and coil-overs and it's...

    Thoughts on revising suspension

No, I have not. May be time. What's your thinking on this? Were you thinking spring rates?

    Thoughts on revising suspension

Thanks for your feedback. Don't get me wrong. The ride is good. Just wish it was a little tighter on the highway. I have thought about either factory front sway bar or maybe something like a dual rate front sway bar. Any thought son this? I have Currie 60s front and rear with yeti drag...

    Thoughts on revising suspension

Currently my JKU is sitting on a RK long arm kit (3 link) with Rebel Off-Road coil over kit and front and rear Currie Anti-Rocks. Have run this way for probably close to 5 years. Been wondering about revising things to be more road friendly if overlanding and having to travel long interstate or...

    Thoughts on new 37" Tires

I appreciate the feedback. Mickey Thompson - We have a Cooper Tire plant here in town, so I was aware of the Goodyear buyout. Buying a set could be viewed as supporting local workers/business. But a company having "woke" policies or stances doesn't really sit that well with me. I guess...

    Thoughts on new 37" Tires

Time for some new tires and was curious to get some feedback. As of right now, I've narrowed it down to a few. I am currently running the Nitto Trail Grapplers and seemed to have had good luck with them, so they are on the lists. My local shop mentioned he like the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss MT...

Which body mounted tire carrier do you all like best and why?

Just thought it may be a good idea since running a 6.2 LS swap so gas mileage isn't exactly high. Plud would like the ability to carry extra gear not just gas if wanting to.

Which body mounted tire carrier do you all like best and why?

@wayoflife Yea, I like that it is aluminum for weight, but wonder about weight capacity. They state it's rated for 160 lbs. With that in mind...the 37" Nitto Trail Grappler is noted to be 84.75 lbs and the Spyderlock Wheel is about 45 lbs. So my spare is about 130 lbs. Gas is about 6 lbs per...

Which body mounted tire carrier do you all like best and why?

Which body mounted tire carrier do you all like best and why? I have looked at the Genright, Poison Spyder, Evo, and others. I see that the Genright carrier has the option to add a swing lock on it which I really like if you are parked on a side hill or something. My JCR rear bumper with their...

Thoughts on the Mopar J8 Brake Booster & Master Cylinder

I am in the process of doing a 6.2 swap into my '13 JKU. My rig is on the heavy side, running heavy 37s (Nitto TG on Spyderlok wheels) with Currie 60s. Any opinions on upgrading to a larger brake booster and master cylinder like the Mopar J8? If I do it, now is the time. Is it worth the added...
