Jeep disappointed me today and probably lost me as a customer. There are other trucks that will get the job done that have more features, power, and better design. I will miss the Jeep meetups and rallies, but the nail is in the coffin on the truck side for Jeep.

When you say ordered a diesel, do you mean new? 2024? I'm hearing so many mixed things on them.

Ecodiesel is my vote. However, I don't think you can get a 2024 model. 2023 is the last year they made it and they aren't making anymore I've read on other places.k Which sucks, I was literally going to trade and get one.

In other places they are saying the Gladiator isn't going to get the diesel in 2024. So that's an easy decision to just get the Raptor IMO. I'm not owning a hybrid truck.

Honestly, the Raptor has me questioning my loyalty to Jeep and I'm giving it serious thought. I go back and forth daily between a JT Rubicon Diesel or Raptor.

The 3.6L struggles to hold even the smallest of inclines and mostly wants to run in 6th gear. It just doesn't have the umph needed to tow much of anything IMO. And yes to trailer brakes!

I need to tow a boat, other trailers, etc. If I were to get a new Gladitor diesel Rubicon, what's the max tire size I could run without having to re-gear, and still tow a boat / trailers / camper / etc to the mountains without straining the engine? Is the torque plentiful enough that it won't...

Like wayoflife said, they work, but they won't turn a dead signal into a signal. They will only boost what they find. We use them in the RVs, hunting camps with good success.
