  • Gotcha. It's more of a feeler at this point. I guess both coasts are money pits. I've had to maintain a Yankee white security clearance and will be going for my a&p license even though I'm an electrician. Just to get more experience. It's funny you mentioned the 53. They're building the 53e now up here. Everything on that aircraft is HUGE.

    Wow that is a really cool job working for HMX-1. how do you like it out there?
    Its nice out here that is for sure just the cost of living is more than the east coast. Depending on experience and the platform you work on there is jobs out here. I know NATEC for the north island base is always looking for H60 tech reps. that is the only birds we have out here really, except for Miramar might have a MH-53 squadron still and a CH-46 squadron.
