So, I got a message from a member here on WAYALIFE letting me know that he came across an online store that was not only selling our copyrighted WAYALIFE windshield decal but was using one of our photos to promote it and just for good measure, was selling it for considerably MORE than we do.

So, I have to ask, are any of you guys actually buying these decals from this thief? Certainly, I hold no ill will toward you - I just want to know why you would. Clearly, you may not have known that we sell our copyrighted decals exclusively and that thieves live this are not associated with us.

Oh, and so that there's no mistake, we work hard to COPYRIGHT everything related to our brand and the word "WAYALIFE" is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and it is LIVE - Registration Number: 4,912,597. Int. Cls.: 16 and 25. Ser. No. 56-633,796.

BTW, here's the original photo that the thief above stole from me too.

Definitely not. I'm sure you've contacted him about it, and we would probably all be interested to hear what he has to say. People suck.

After looking at the site, If I had to guess I'd say this guy is a member who's wife does a bunch of Pinterest type shit on the side and had her do his banner rather than buying it like everyone else. Now they think they're clever and will sell them for you.

Wow! Talk about total ripoff! Usually you see people just make there own Wayalife banners to try and sell but this guy went as far as to buy your product, use your photo, AND sell it for more! How unoriginal

That's really shitty when somebody tries to make money off of somebody else's hard work. Have you had to defend you patent against people yet?

I've reported him to etsy. For what it's worth, this isn't the first time I've had to report him too. :naw:

Is that also a picture of Rubicat he used to sell YOUR decal for himself?!

Yup. That is a photo that we took of Rubicat in our driveway back when we still lived in SoCal.

As sad as it is to say, I am CONSTANTLY having to contact people and report them to ebay or etsy. I've even had people challenge me and give me the big f-you inspite of the fact that I have registered copyrights to everything.

Just for kicks and giggles, I just did a quick search on eBay and found the following two thieves ripping off my copyrighted JK logo.

Here's kiadecal...

And here's jwp10058...

jwp10058.jpg

So that it isn't missed, the PROJECT-JK logo which consists of a squared off and angular single image depicting the letters 'JK' bound at the center is registered with the United States Patent and Trademark Office - Registration Number: 4,918,920

Extreme Terrain tried ripping me off before too:

That's seriously messed up! It amazes me that people can be this stupid. They had to have known they would get caught.

WTf, that sucks! have you contacted Ebay and Etsy directly? They frown bigtime on this, and I remember hearing Cafepress actually helping companies that had copyrighted logos violated and locking account funds for items sold and distributing to the impacted parties.
