Rausch Creek - 08Feb2013

NoRoad,

I think you took a video of me climbing the hill with the big ass pine tree that kept slapping me in the face as I went back down to try again. Can you post it or send it to me?

Thanks
Scott (GrnHorn)

I wish i had it was great let me ask the lady if she got one of you!

Theres a lot of us who wheel with open diffs. I would never try to talk someone out of lockers but it will amaze you how well a Jeep will do with open differentials.

Agreed. It is crazy what they can do but having them and not needing them is better then needing them and not having them lol

Lesson learned :) :)

Hey...I do need everyones make, mods et al so I can put them in the video with your handle :)
My husband says viewers love to put names to faces and they want to know what makes their jeep special :) If everyone who was there could post it here or pm me that would be VERY awesome!!!

Andrew & Julie mods are all listed under profile

Well, i had planned on holding off on lifting for a long time, after seeing the difference just having more rubber makes in person i think ill move that up the priority list, besides, i wont sag so much with my bumper upgrades!

I agree that open diffs can do a lot BUT after locking my rear it makes stuff easier. Like Jim says I try to never lock but when I do (like going up out of lake christy yesterday) it makes life easier

I had a great time with everyone
I'm glad I was able to make it this weekend

It wasn't exactly the weekend I had planned, but hey ... nothing broke, so ...
Thanks for everyone's patience
Scott, thanks for letting me ride with you.

For those who missed dinner
It was "an adventure"

My lift should be ordered by March 1,
so hopefully by April I'll be ready to wheel again

I've got videos of "sledding" and the resulting first aid
I'll try to get that posted soon

Don't worry everyone (who wasn't there and reading this) none of us were involved. But it was definitely wierd. I'm wondering how common that kind of thing is in a local family restaurant? :( :( Definitely threw me for a loop  I'll be glad when we can all camp and eat our food at the campsites instead :D

You can't leave us hanging... I've been in that trip a few times, what happened??

I wasn't there when it happened. I went to get some air in the lounge area a bit earlier with my husband. I only wanted to clarify eHoganys original post

At dinner we had the back room. A couple of the locals had got into the fire water and decided to have a scuffle. They almost came through the little door separating them from us.
