Wrangler 2016, what do you want?

A new plateform is suppose to arrive in 2016, maybe someone from Jeep is reading these post,so what equipment would you like to have as standard or optional?

I'll start with;
-LED headlights,fogs,rear
-lift/suspension to accomodate 35-37" tires(I know, not realistic from a marketing point of view)
-Biodiesel compatible for the new diesel engine

Your turn.....

Eco electric engine lol

I think it would be cool if they came out with more models like a pickup truck and also a 2 door thats a lot smaller like the size of the original willys that would get great mileage

It's not really the weight and size as much as are jeeps are as aerodynamic as a brick with wheels

I don't think a 2 door unlimited would sell.

A nice JKL just like that

And have you ridden with truck-lites? from what you say, I guess not. For having a pair on my jk, I have to tell you that they are AMAZING compared to stock. 25x brither.

How bout a rubi xtreme:
- stripped down rubicon
- beefed 44 c's and tubes
- 3 speed Xfer case
- lockers engage in all 3 speeds
- on board air
- reinforced roll cage
- flat fenders and a 33"-35" tire
- AEV equivalent wheel offset

Four options available. Diesel, auto, Dana 60 rear, and color. Just about everything but the 3 speed Xfer case is already made by the factory or through mopar performance! Stripping all the gadgets would offset some of the other addons. Just a hardcore trail/hunting jeep. Every HILLBILLY's dream!

I'd like to see accessory rocker switches per wired for whatever you want and easy to set up, I like sPod, but it would be so easy to throw it in from the factory. Also, instead of having everyone's ideas of what they want added straight from the factory which would only increase the price quite a bit, I'd like to see a completely stripped option. Basically the body, drive train, simple interior... No bumpers, side steps, weak axles, tires, wheels, or suspension. Most of us on here are going to scrap a lot of those things or part it out anyway. It may be a hassle for transport to dealers and for yourself, but I'd rather start completely stripped, save a lot of money and time, and pick all of the aftermarket parts myself that will eventually be added in the long run. Just something I've thought about for awhile...

I'd just like jeep to at least leave things alone. The 4:10 gears are already gone as an option from auto rubicons. I just hope they don't turn it into a car by then. :/

I have $9k saved up so far for my new Rubi. I was gonna keep saving and wait till the refresh to buy but probably will buy early next year since offload options have already started to disappear. I just hope things like the lockers, low geared transfer case, etc are still available by then.

4:10 gearing is still an option on auto Rubicons.. Just bought mine in December with the 4:10's unless it's been dropped since then.. But I agree.. They better not turn it into a car.. Nobody wants a fully enclosed wrangler or small car gas mileage if it means sacrificing capability.

If you buy one off the lot you can still find them (auto trans) with the 4:10 gears. If you order one or do the build option from the web site you will see the 4:10 is no longer an option with the auto trans. Yay Jeep... NOT!!!
