Finally got the TJ out for its maiden voyage after going through pretty much everything since I bought it . Couldn’t be happier with it . was fun being back in a manual transmission Jeep with the straight 6 . Had to get up with the chickens to beat the heat the Arizona desert has a beauty of its own at first light .
Awesome man! Jeep looks great.

Started new job that's up the hill from the house. About 17 miles. Only problem is the drive up from about 1000 feet elevation to more than 5000 in about 20 minutes in the Jeep. But then you get this going home. 🤣🤣The 53 is to the bottom of the hill and the 26
is pulling into the driveway.😳 20221012_165634.jpg

Sand Hollow

Driving in the sand is unlike anything else. Sand is constantly changing. In just a few feet, it can go from firm to soft. Sand also changes with time. Firm sand just driven over can be soft an hour later. The trick is to get up enough speed to keep the tires on top of the sand. The hard part is accelerating up to that speed without bogging or digging in.

The KM3s worked better in the sand than I thought they would, but to be honest, Other than riding an ATC at the beach, I have very little experience in sand.

The trip was a lot of fun and I plan to return soon.

Awesome pics! That last two, wow. Also, interesting how the front side of that set on the right seem to be jutting straight upwards. Very cool.
