What was done to your rig this week?

Installed my yeti no drill drag link flip kit from steersmarts, a new adjuster sleeve and moog pitman arm end from the local NAPA store, synergy track bar bracket and extended my rear axle breather tube.

The Jeep really handles better now and steering feels tighter.

Yes, there is an air actuated version. But if you can't bend down far enough to reach the bumper, you might want to get a doctor's approval before wheeling (or having sex).

Or maybe I do not want to get soaked in mud or just have a more convenient way to activate that stuff.


Anything that just uses a cable? I remember seeing something like that a while ago but forgot who made it.

How much more convenient can it be than turning a knob? Depending on your bumper you can turn it by feel and not even have to bend over much at all. I installed one of these and its one of my favorite mods.
There's nothing to break or wear out. A cable actuator is just asking to get fouled and jammed up. :twocents:
 
The air actuated one is just a button on the dash, just like a locker. Of course then you don't get to bend over.

I'll second that. Of course I went from no disconnects to this and it's WAY better than removing bolts and securing it with zip ties :crazyeyes:

It does get a little dirty after a run, but come on. Who the fuck is clean after a run anyway!? Get some dirt on your hands for christ sake.
 
Installed Savvy JK Half doors

This was a fairly easy install. The person who painted and assembled the doors took quite a few pictures of the process and I can post them or take more detailed shots if there is any interest.

The only hitch was that the cables for opening the rear door mechanisms were too short, so they can not be opened using the outside handle. The fix should be fairly simple, so I'm not worried. Now I have to decide it I want to run this combination with the factory soft top or just stay with the hard top. I bought uppers also, but do not plan on using them at this time as the JK is stored in the barn.

Swapped out the black soft top for a tan one. It's a rough country. I can definitely tell the difference in quality, but I got it super cheap on eBay so it'll do for a few summers I suppose.
