good to know!I admit I was dumb enough to follow the aux battery delete trend on YouTube. But after reading Eddie's post about the aux battery protecting the computer, I quickly plugged everything back together.
What I learn when you unplug the aux battery, there are no warning lights because it disables them. Right after I put my aux battery back, I got a fuel cap warning and slow emissions leak check engine light. I've been driving almost 300 miles with the fuel cap off without any warning lights. I don't think it's coincidence.

Awesome choices! Those will look great against the blue. Glad that little man got the rings torqued to spec too!!!Found a set of KMC Tanks for a decent price and got them mounted for the wife’s rig. Her tires also need to be replaced so went in on a set of Trail Grappler’s in a 38.

I've been trying to find a wheel shop that would machine the ATX for that new look but painting is a good idea. what type paint did you use?I too have started a beadlock mounting project. Or rather, a new tire mounting project and since my ATX Chamber pros have really taken a beating, I’ve decided to clean them up and give them a fresh coat of paint.
Oh and new shoes of course.
Yeah I’ve had that issue with other wheels too. When I bought these way back in 2017 they were a blemish sale as they didn’t have any clear coat. I got soooo tired of trying to keep them clean I bead blasted them and then rattle canned them.I've been trying to find a wheel shop that would machine the ATX for that new look but painting is a good idea. what type paint did you use?
last time I tried to paint aluminum it peeled off

I use this same paint on all by touch up applications.Yeah I’ve had that issue with other wheels too. When I bought these way back in 2017 they were a blemish sale as they didn’t have any clear coat. I got soooo tired of trying to keep them clean I bead blasted them and then rattle canned them.
I used the VHT Roll bar and chassis paint in satin black.
Lasted for about 4 years and now that I’m doing tires again, decided to freshen them up. Three coats and then one coat of clear over that.
