What was done to your rig this week?

Started building this shelf to help make storage easier on longer trips. I won't use it all the time just multi night camping trips. Going to sand it and paint it later today or tomorrow when the rain stops.

Nice! I had something like this in my Land Rover. I had covered the top with really low cut pile carpet, but it turned out that was a little too slippery, although it worked awesome for padding and sound absorption. To fix the sliding, I bought a big roll of the kitchen drawer/tool box drawer liner rubber mat. If I was carrying something on top of the shelf, I would roll the liner down first and then stack my containers on it.

I am planning on some type of rubber for the top to hold things down. It is a little narrower the. I had wanted but I can take it out easier this way. It'll work for the time being. Still have to figure out mounting and then add tie down points to strap things to the top. The test will be in about a month when I go on vacation for a week.

Installed a new Warn PowerPlant. (Actually EVO installed it, thanks Mel)!

Side note: I was concerned that the cheap Smittybilt XRC10 wouldn't work when I needed it most. So I seriously upgraded.

New Master Pull synthetic rope is ordered and I have a new Factor 55 for the end when the rope comes in.

Oh so they only cost an arm, a leg, and your first born instead of both arms, a leg, and your first born? Lol

They are expensive. At that price point I think hidprojectors.com has em beat. I just installed some silverstar ultras a few minutes ago and all I can say is meh. Nothing spectacular at first looks. Ill see if there's a substantial difference driving to work in a couple hours. I feel like the hellfire kit from rebel or possibly some hid projectors are in my future.
