What Auto Insurance Do You Have?

How do the insurance companies handle off-road damage when on say, the Rubicon? If you have a total loss on a heavily modified Jeep what does that end up looking like?

Dropped or jacked up rates. Don’t tell em.

I've heard horror stories of disaster areas where insurance companies just cut people off even if the property isn't damaged. Insurance company just says sorry we no longer cover this area because of risk.

In my area I went from 250 a month on Allstate to 150 with triple a.

Same coverage supposedly.

We will see how long it lasts.

Bump!

Hey everyone, just noticed my insurance policy going up by $10 per vehicle per month, so I’m going to shop around to see if I can beat it. I currently pay $240 per month combined. I already did online quotes for Geico and Allstate and it came to about $300 per month.

Who do you use for auto insurance?

We are using AMICA for two houses and three vehicles. We have been using them for many years. Not sure about any recent price increases but no complaints about service.

Progressive has raised our rates yearly for the past three years. Our rates went up when we moved to TN too. Figure that one out. They blamed inflation.

There are a lot of bad drivers in Tennessee!

I have been with progressive now for about 10 years. For both cars we pay $1100 every 6 months. So $550ish each. I have cars, house, and my jet ski thru them so bundling helps.

We also run our house and vehicles through one company. Couldn’t believe how cheap vehicle insurance became when we made that move.

yea it helps alot to keep it all with one company. for $100 a vehicle a month for full tort policy coverage im happy. started with my jet ski policy then added the vehicles and house on after

Shop your insurance every few years, apples to apples same coverage, get several quotes.
Then call call your current insurance and give them the quotes and names. They will either beat it, or say they can't do anything.
Then change your insurance company.

It's a game to them and they think no one will leave them, until they do.

If you personally are high risk, or you're in a high risk area, you're pretty much SOL.
