What Auto Insurance Do You Have?

I've had State Farm for forever (wife's dad was the SF agent) and they've been great to us. I got into a wreck waaaaay back in Gruff and they paid 100% no issues, and this was replacement of aftermarket parts and a new frame. As far as homeowners it's been the same. Really odd how tihs is so hit and miss. There's no rhyme or reason why it varies so much across regions.

LOL - tell me about it! I'm sure things would be different had the nice officers given me tickets 🤪

From what I understand, up here, rates are based on zip code and oddly enough, credit score. This would be very different if we lived in the county up north.
I’m sure the quantity of vehicles you have insured helps too.

We have State Farm for homeowners insurance and we've been happy with them. They've been very affordable.

It's funny because we're required to have insurance on all our vehicles (if they are driven on the roads) but for our old iron, we can only get comprehensive on them (they won't insure the vehicle itself). Needless to say, they are super cheap and to the point where we just keep paying it instead of registering some of them as "non-use". The bulk of our payments are for the 392 followed by our 2 Gladiators. Moby is old enough that his rates are pretty cheap now.

Do you have hagerty on the old stuff? They will insure for whatever value you want.

I don't but I would if I drove them on a daily basis.
I think hagerty would be the way to go. I don’t think they will insure them if you drive them everyday. They “limit” the miles I think. Obviously they never check but that’s what they say. I think I paid $120 for the DJ for $5000 in coverage and that was for the year and included a $40 hagerty magazine subscription. So $80 for the Jeep. But that’s basically full coverage.
