WAYALIFE on the GO : Miscellaneous Photos from Cindy & Eddie!

Fortunately, our roads aren't salted here in the winter time. Sure, like most places, they'll brine ahead of a snow storm but only if rain isn't predicted ahead of it. Once snow is falling, the dump truck/plows clear the roads and spread sand or pumice. Of course, the upside of doing this is that we don't have the corrosion issues that the rust belt has but the downside is that all the streets get super dirty and it gets all over everything.

I don't even want to open my windows for any reason as all you hear is the scratching of sand on it - BLEH!

You should have seen the Duramax when I was up in NY. Took it to the car wash and three hours later it looked worse.

Sounds like my windows after the NY run once we finished Afton Canyon...haha

Man, growing up in NY, Which Adam knows, it was common to see vehicles within 18 months of brand new getting rust bubbles in the fenders. I can’t even fathom that now. I learned to work in cars with PB blaster and a torch as a necessity, the first time i changed a wheel bearing out here and it just unbolted and fell out I shocked! lol. But the sand does make quite the mess and I’m not sure how much it helps.
