Tom Petty Dead at 66

I hadn't heard about this but just received a RIP Tom Petty from a local radio app I use. That sucks he was awesome.
 
Just heard too... I was lucky to see him perform at a small venue here in LA...the guy is a f'n legend.... There is a cool Documentary on Netflix about him.... What a bummer.

Saw him in Boston about 15 years ago. Probably the best concert I have ever been to. Just an incredible lyricist, song writer, and band leader. A unique American talent.
 
I am a huge fan of TP & the Heartbreakers...all my buds covered Breakdown & Refugee in their garage bands...he was a great songwriter...

was lucky to catch him in SLC - 1995,

just heard he's still alive - though not likely to survive being off life support
