TIN CAMP - This is the Last One...

Well, the ladies are gone, for now anyway but this young buck has decided to stick around and wait for them to come back.

Just got back from winterizing Tin Camp and I have to say, it totally sucks that we had to do it. Not even so much for the work as it's pretty easy to do but more rather, because it's still really nice out and there will be days to come that will be too and well into November. But, I am glad that we did as winter is here and we'll be getting some real cold out here and starting from tonight.

Here's a pic of Mt. Wheeler on our way in. This is a few days after the last storm and as you can see, there's still snow on it and in spite of how warm it's been.

So bitter sweet to be back.

Unfortunately, we're right in the middle of a big project and so this was a turn and burn all work trip and so these were all the pics we took

Oh yeah. We'll most likely stop in from time to time over the winter as well. Just a bummer that we can't really stay there for a period of time. Hoping to fix that in the future.

Herd of deer stopping by for some breakfast, as always but it's been a while and so I thought I'd post a video of them.
