I’m a Clemson grad and I’m not looking forward to the prospect of playing Auburn again. I think it would be a good game, but they worry me more than any of the other CFP teams.

Well, after yesterday's conference championship games, it'll be interesting to see who else besides Clemson & Oklahoma gets into the playoffs...Auburn & Wisconsin are definely out...

Ok...Georgia & Bama in...the selection committee picked a 1 loss Crimson Tide over a 2 loss Big Ten champion...

I know it’s hard to see past the conference champion but I think they got it right. Ohio State had a bad 31 point loss to non ranked Iowa, granted Bama didn’t have a huge win all year per say but they are damn good. Also like seeing the irony for Ohio State in regards to last year having the same thing happen to them (getting in over Penn State who were the champs, and lost head to head might I add) either way I think it’ll shake out as a good playoff. No love for the pac 12 in the top 6 though.

Yep i think hey nailed it. It’s unfortunate for the Buckeyes, but you simply can’t lose two games and one of them an absolute blowout to an unranked team, and still make the playoffs; conference championship or not...

I thought Penn St got jobbed as well last year...

Huskies blew it by losing to Stanford and missing the Pac 12 championship...

I'm thinking a Clemson/Sooners championship game is looming...

Yea I do feel for the buckeyes cause they really had a great season but your right, gotta take care of business and the regular season matters. The best part about a 4 team over a 6 or 8 team playoff is all the drama and conversations that come from it

Oh yea i love the drama lol. Now for the Bucks, if that loss came to Iowa earlier in the season, it MAY have gotten overlooked a bit. But it came one week after they beat a then #2 Penn State well into November...

Penn State/Washington will be a good bowl match up, you going to make the trip to AZ?

I don’t have a strong opinion on whether they got it right or wrong, but I worry about the message that they sent. If Ohio State had played some high school team instead of Oklahoma earlier in the year and finished as a one loss conference champion then they get in, even if that one loss was to Iowa. As a football fan, I enjoy big time non conference matchups, but if I’m Ohio State or another school hoping to get into the playoff why would I schedule tough non conference teams?

Like how Alabama schedules non conference games?...
