The California DREAM is LEAVING it

At this point and time, you either need to be so stupid rich that no amount of taxes, cost of living or otherwise will affect you OR, you have to be so poor that you get government support. Yeah, there are plenty of people somewhere in the middle that find a way to survive but really, that's all they're doing - working hard and making money to not only support themselves but everyone else as well. And really, more power to them for sticking it out and being so charitable

Like I said, more power to them. Honestly, I wish more people would move there, stay there, convince themselves how nice it is and just keep funding the system

LOL - like that would ever happen. The people in California ELECTED those politicians and on purpose.

Because Many people in California either work directly or indirectly for some part of the government(state, county, local) or a family member does and their livelihood will be affected if there’s any slowdown in spending. That’s why the ridiculous temporary gas tax wasn’t expired a few years ago. They told the public works construction unions that their pay and jobs would be cut if the taxes didn’t continue.
