Funny, this area can still be somewhat backwards about different ethnic foods, even though it's 2025. In Pittsburgh and the suburbs it's just like everywhere else, but when you get into our rural areas it can be pretty old school. Like growing up here tacos were the Ortega kind, and there weren't no other options. That mexican place I ate at today was in a mountain town & based on the ma & pa kettles eating there, no one would know what a birria taco was if it hit em in the face.

I have no idea what a birria taco is. Never heard of it in Texas, New Mexico,, Arizona, or California. I assume it is some creation from New Jersey.

If only there was a way to look up Birria. Don’t know how I could find any information about that. I guess I’ll find a dictionary oh wait I don’t have a Mexican dictionary. Any ideas how anyone could find out about these birria tacos?

We had this smart washer we got about 5 years ago. Great price, came with a matching dryer. It was such a fucking nightmare. Always out of balance and the computer would shut down for any and every reason. Took 3 days to wash clothes on average with all the sensor errors. We were sick of it. We were seriously planning to take it out in the woods and do a 'building 7' on it. We finally got a replacement about a year ago and the company took it away at a very reasonable price instead.

I absolutely HATE my new washer and dryer. Takes forever to wash and it never uses enough water to do a thorough job.

Are these the HE front loader style washers that create a 3.5 Richter Scale earthquake when they spin out? I hate these damn things
I wanted to buy a top load but nooooooo, Mrs Gruff insists on having one.

And when did it start taking dishwashers 3 hours to run through?

Yeah kicking myself in the ass for letting the washer and dryer convey when we sold our first house. I bet they are still running flawlessly. We have managed to keep the refrigerator we bought almost forty years ago moved it from California and have used it as a an extra in the garage while our fancy new one is driving us nuts.

Imagine that front loader in a camper. Feels like we are gonna fall off the jacks.

Also front loaders are notorious for mold and in the seals that you can’t clean and that mold transfers to your clothes.

Maybe Trump can make appliances great again?
The new stuff sucks, not as bad as the machines in Europe but pretty close. Have you ever seen a washer dryer combo? As in you throw your clothes in and the same machine washes and then drys your clothes? I would come back from a work trip and all my clothes smelled like EuroTrash people. Although the body order residue did help me blend in. 🤣😂
