Looks awesome Rich. This is exactly the direction I am going for my budget build whenever things slow down and get back to normal.

Thanks man. I'm actually very happy that I had a goal in mind and was able to implement it. My gas mileage is good, minimal investment thus far, and it works for the wheeling I do. Just seems like when it rains it pours; lot of things going on with the house so the Jeep needs to take a proverbial backseat right now. Should be able to breathe a bit in a few more months when child support is done. But, that brings with it a whole new set of financial issues! LOL.

Got myself the Evo rear fascia today. I wanted something that was minimalist, and didn't want to add a lot of weight to the rear end. I plan on covering up some of the excess metal under the tailgate to blend it in better, and also want to get the D ring kit. Little by little though.

It's been awhile! Thought I'd post an update, as the Jeep is always a work in progress....until you run out of money!
So I decided to do some mods before I did a year long road trip with my Jeep. We took it all around the US towing a teardrop camper and had a great time. I needed to add some new tires, so I went up to 35's, I added a Smitty rear tire carrier and hinge setup along with the slant back conversion for when I use my soft top. I also went with a 2.5" Rubicon Express lift that changed out the springs and shocks, and added some lighting up front. New Rough Country LED headlamps and a Procomp 10" bar mounted to my bumper. The lighting upgrade was well worth it...we needed those lights when we traveled...the halogens wouldn't have cut it. The Jeep fared well, only had the oil cooler go out in Tennessee, and developed a ticking noise once we got into Minnesota. Put about 27k on the Jeep, did some off roading in Utah, Colorado, Idaho and Arizona, and was very happy with everything.

Caught the Bug
Here are some shots from the road: exploring in Page, AZ, driving through White Sands NM, a stop with the setup at Capitol Reef NP in Utah, and after a day mudding and driving in snow in Bryce/Tropic UT.
