We have so many of these things in Alabama. They are tough creatures. I'll never forget this from when I was a kid. My mom thought the cat was out on the porch having a bite so she decided to go pet it. Turned out it was a giant one of these ugly things. It turned around and hissed at her. She almost went through the wall trying to get away from it.
