Project Colossus

I would be very careful with those rear d-rings. Hard to tell from the pictures, but the tabs holding the d-rings look very thin. The ones on my PSC bumper are 3/4" thick.

Yeah they are not 3/4" thick like most, but they are not super thin and it'll still take a good bit to break them. Here's a closer picture:

Installed the Aries flat fenders. The thread tool that came with it was a bitch to use so if anyone else gets these I defiantly recommend borrowing or buying a thread setter. Overall I am impressed with them though. Sorry for the dark pictures, I'll get better ones during the day.

Finally was able to do a few installs this weekend. Installed some Poison Spyder bombshells front and rear after I painted them, finally put a hitch on the jeep, installed Bushwacker hood protector and tailgate protector, and had some Synergy C Gussets welded on.

Nice build!

As a side note, I am no welder, but it looks like the welds didn't really penetrate the C. Maybe it's just the low light or the angle, but that weld looks like it is sitting on top of the metal.

Thanks. And it's welded to the c for sure. The things aren't budging.

Well ended up changing the front vinyl on my grille and added some nightsun4x4 headlights.

Well my passenger side quarter panel had a big dent in the side so I thought I'd try some body armor instead of buying a new quarter panel. Really impressed with them and seem to be pretty sturdy. I really hate trying to install rivet nuts though.

These look pretty darn good for being Smitty. I really like those. Looks great! What's the cost?

How do you like the headlights? They look awesome, but do they work well on the road. Just curious, I Trucklites and love them.

Yeah I was impressed with the quality and great finish on the powder coating. They did forgot to include the rivet tool so I had to make my own but that was no big deal for me. They were $350 for the set. I'm debating on getting matching Smittybilt for the rear or going Evo and go with a Evo tire carrier as well.

If you go Evo tire carrier I'll take the teraflex one lol. Every time I hit a bump my butt puckers as I wait for my carrier to fail haha.
