Pet Peeves - What Pisses You Off?

Ok - still pissed off

And yes, I sprayed the little shits with bug spray but this is why I got stung. Of course, it took me bending down and looking for this.

Ouch. I was helping paint the Lee Vining USFS building in 2009. They told us to be careful of wasps in a certain area. I was walking through to get more paint and felt like I was punched in the mouth. Didn't even see it and I looked like the elephant man for a week as my lip was huge.

Getting rid of used oil. Why TF is this made so difficult? You'd think this shit is spent Uranium. Local parts store now only takes 5 gallons per month. I had 10. Nope, gotta come back next month. Gimme a break - the holding tank in the back is at least 500 gallons. Between tractor, zero turn, Jeeps, SXS, Quad, & truck it's easy to accumulate.

And then they want you to write down your name, address & phone number on the log.

Here in free America I can take to it the dump station (convenience center they call it) and dump all I want. Luckily for me it’s a mile away. They take coolant too. So nice and convenient.

That said and along similar lines, I really hate how hard it is to dispose of old fluorescent tubes and even worse, rechargeable batteries. The dump doesn’t want the bulbs because there’s toxic metals in them and lithium batteries cause fires all the time in the fill. I mean, these things were supposed to save the planet, right?? The lease the planet savers could do is make it easier to “recycle” them 🙄

Not believable. He gets his done at Jiffy Lube.
I do have a large amount of oil to return. I discovered that the city provides a place to get rid of oil, poisons, old paint, batteries, etc., so that is likely what I will do.

Another approach is to just put the bottle on the floor when you visit the auto parts store and don't ask for help.

It is nice that people here offer to do chores for me. I appreciate whatever help is offered. 😄

This ^^^ I just take my oil, coolant and even batteries to the local dump 👍🏻
Same. Convenience Center here. Super easy. That is if I have any left after wiping down my frames.

all the parking at Lowe's near the doors is marked handicap, have yet to see a handicap tag or license plate on any of the cars parked there.

The people I've seen walking out carrying bags, lumber etc... sure don't seem handicapped
Just like the asshats that used to park in the load up zones before they turned half of the zone into parking spots…

This looks like a major fire hazard. Surely the bills hanging from their edges are far more likely to burn quickly than bills stapled flat to the wall/ceiling?
I’m sure it would burn quickly.

Where do you come up with this? Have you actually studied the properties of burning money? Personally I’ve never tried to burn money and seriously doubt its very flammable as it technically made out of a cotton/linen mixture. It’s not paper.
