As you know, I dropped off our Gladiator at the dealership almost a month ago and originally, there was no ETA for the new sending unit that we're needing. But, before I could pick it up, I got a call saying that there's a chance they could get one by the 18th of November. Needless to say, I decided to just leave it there.
Well, the 18th came and went then there was Thanksgiving and now, almost a month later, I call and get a new "possible" ETA of December 15th

Well damn that sucks your having to wait so long. Hopefully they will get the ball rolling sooner than later on the parts.

Hey in the dealer parts world just having an ETA is HUGE news! Good news or at least, I'm hopeful anyway. Didn't hear from the dealership yesterday so I just called and was told that the new sending unit did in fact come in yesterday and that our Gladiator was on the rack now. No guarantee but they are hoping to have it done today!

Jesus what a saga. Being a former parts manager… I can honestly say it’s likely someone there dropped the ball and didn’t do much to correct it. Hopefully this is the end of the issues for you guys.
Definitely how it felt but after talking to others I know who've been trying to get a sending unit for their Gladiator, they were having the same no ETA problem.

Ah that makes a bit more sense. It always sucks when you have something so critical take forever. It’s not like a clock spring or something that you can keep driving on. Stoked you’ll be getting it back soon I’m sure.
Still annoying and I feel like it's all on Jeep's end. It's like they're just ordering what they need and not stocking parts.
