Off road Evo regear

Funny how someone will call a shop, second guess the information they received. Then they come to the forum to ask about it. The same forum with a rep from the company they are second guessing. EVEN BETTER is I'd bet money that he got the info from Drew then came here and have Drew tell him the SAME SHIT.

Yeah they have the best deal on gears around. The only way it'd be cheaper would be if you had the tools and ability to do it yourself. Plus I'm sure they do several regears a day so I'm sure they know what they are doing..;)

So update to this thread. I got the regear done by ORE and it feels great. Love having my torque back and the jeep feels awesome. Big thanks to drew and all the guys at ORE.

A grand for a regear is an awesome price. I just got quotes for a regear to 4.88 from 2 places on Oahu, both right around 2200 bucks. That's gonna hurt!

:hmm: I would get it re-geared before shipping your jeep. Your options are limited here, and that's how they can charge so much.

Jeep was shipped last week, ran out of time to get anything done here. I'm hoping to at least pick up some wheels and a programmer to get the Jeep up on 35s. Then I'll take my time shopping around for parts and hopefully find a more reasonable price for a regear.

Lighten up Francis ;)

I don't see anything wrong with what OP posted. He obviously isn't familar with ORE and their reputation in the jeep community. With so many shady mechanics and shops around today it never hurts to double check things or get a second opinion. He didn't say anything negative or insinuate that he was being ripped off or given bad advice... Just wanted to double check the info he was given, after all... I thought thats what this forum was for:crazyeyes:

On a side note, I can personally vouch for Drew, Mel and the gang at ORE. EVERYTIME I've dealt with them in the past its been an amazing experience and expectations were either met or exceeded. First class operation for sure!

Way to revive this thread and pick out an old post.

You sound a bit sensitive.....
