NEWBIE RUN: Last Chance Canyon Dec. 7th.

Well as much as I'd like to make this one it looks I have a last minute gymnastics meet to attend. I hope to see everyone on the next one. Mcpuck did you figure out a good meeting place that those coming from the south could meet and caravan? How about the Home Depot in Anaheim just off the 5fwy & Brookhurst? What time? 5:00-5:30am? Any other thoughts?

Tustin would still be south of Mcpuck so that wouldn't work. Also we are planning on leaving OC about 5:30am so we could get to Adelanto at about 7:00am to eat before rolling out at 8:00am
 
Damn… Jeep is going back to the dealers this morning. Brand new transmission is leaking.:mad: Wish me luck on getting her back today, if not I am on to Plan B for tomorrows run.

Well, she also has a rattle at idle when in gear and they also rehung the muffler with … a coat hanger. :grayno: Am I pissed? Look out mf’ers cause here I come.:tantrum:
 
Why did they use a coat hanger? Did they lose the rear bolt on hanger and think you wouldn't notice?
Wouldn't be surprised if they give you the ole "it's a jeep, it's supposed to do that" :p

Got my jeep back last night. Replacement axle shaft installed and differentials services. Also picked up some D rings for my front bumper since I don't have tow hooks anymore.

OK for those coming from the OC and would like to caravan.

1st stop: coming up the 57N freeway exit Imperial Hwy (90) and go straight thru the light into the parking lot. meet there at 5:30-5:45am

For those coming from San Diego area:

2nd stop: 15N freeway exit Baseline. Turn right off the exit and left into Starbucks parking lot. meet there at 6:15am

3rd stop: Bravo Burger on the 395 in Adelanto. We should get there around 7am to eat. Be ready to head out at 8AM sharp.

Everyone else: see you at Bravos or at the trailhead.
